Try to avoid - no maintenance done since the 60's
Reviewed By dmellingerNo English speaking staff that I met in a 4-day stay. No towels. No keys for dorm rooms None of the bunk reading lights worked. Hardest bed I have had in a long time. When leaving for the early bus, door stuck and would not open without assistance. Low water pressure in showers. Two of four showers on 2nd floor were not functional. Communal toilets - right next to each other so you can hear your neighbor. This is about my 8th hostel in China, and bar far the worst I have been in. General overall maintenance has been lacking for a long time. It is a shame as it has a nice wood interior.

Reviewed By lucy C旅社很新~房間還算乾淨有電視大窗戶及獨立衛生間,頂樓可以上去曬衣服（看風景）~老闆很親切很愛聊天,8點吃完晚餐回來一直跟我們亂聊聊到晚上11點多~很有趣的經驗~旅社性價比高~推薦！也有幫旅客找司機包車及拼車服務喔~

Very good location! Our hostel is in the middle of two monasteries in Langmusi, facing to the Gansu Serti Gompa, only 200 metres away from the sites. Next to the main street, but the very quiet location allows you to have a nice stay and rest. You can have 24 HOUR HOT SHOWER and FREE WIFI. English service is available, and cafe and bar in public area.Rooms we have:Double Bed Private (ensuite)Twin Private (ensuite)4 Bed Male Dorm (shared bathroom)4 Bed Female Dorm (shared bathroom)6 Bed Mixed Dorm (shared bathroom)Add: 38 Mosque Alley (face to Serti Gompa), Muslin Village, Langmusi
Friendly staff, nice lobby but dirty rooms
Reviewed By malandro111The staff was very friendly and helpful, we had a good time hanging out in the lobby and talking. As good as it was, Im sorry to say, i agree that the best days of this hostel are definitely over. In the room the painting on the wall was coming off and they havent cleaned it touroughly since winter. The water was leaking in the bathroom. Theres no heater except electric blankets (morning room temperature in april 13 degrees). All in all the room is certainly overpriced, but for the friendly english speaking staff and the beautiful location and view it was worth it.
