San Diego embodies laid-back California culture, complete with a Boardwalk, surfing communities, and outstanding Mexican food. Breathe in the fresh ocean air at Sunset Cliffs Natural Park, then gobble down a fresh fish taco at a La Jolla seafood joint. The naval aircrafts at the USS Midway Museum will have you standing at attention. A free Sunday concert at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion is the perfect way to unwind after a Saturday night bar-hop in the thumping Gaslamp Quarter.

Another riding company recommended Blanco Brothers for my wife and I when I said we more experienced riders looking to do more than walk on the beach and it turned out to be the best thing we did on our trip to San Diego. Chuy was great with us and the horses, we were able to ride to our ability, and the 2.5 hour trip was gorgeous, going first through a nature preserve and then to the beach at the very southern edge of the country. If you are an intermediate or better rider and looking for an incredible adventure on horseback I just can't imagine anything better.
