We had 22 of us for a fun night on the lake for a sunset cruise. Enjoyed ourselves immensely. We saw a gator and a bald eagle and got to see the Christmas lights at the marina from the water. Beautiful evening. I would do it again.

We camped here for one night. Our campsite, #7 was beautiful and private. It was right on the lake with a swing, in addition to the fire pit and grill. Restrooms were clean and there was a boardwalk, a fishing dock, trails and playground. Very nice park. (Only 15 campsites so make a reservation).

Palm Island Park

If you want to experience nature, and maybe you don't feature walking around in the forest or jungle, than you will love this place! Nice boardwalk through some pretty thick, wild country. Apparently a lot of dog walkers like it as well. I think lots of people use this place. Of course you could step off the boardwalk to explore further or go fishing. I am glad we found it!
