We were driving west along HWY 1 and decided to stop for a break in Revelstoke. Brian at the Visitor’s Center suggested Big Eddy’s so we went over the one lane bridge to find it. The proprietor is a lovely young lady by the name of Leah. Her shop is small, but, full of beautiful glass creations for sale at reasonable prices. She was making cheerful cups during our visit so we bought 4 of them that were made yesterday. They explained that the glass has to cool slowly in a particular box to avoid cracking. Lee and her team were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. They normally hold glass making workshops, but, with COVID they are not doing that right now. If you like glass art and functional glass creations, stop by to have a look. It’s easy to access off the highway and to get back on.
