Percy House Gallery is situated in one of the oldest town houses in Cockermouth originally built in 1390. With it's unique features which includes the original bread oven, fire places, plaster work ceiling and coat of arms in seven rooms over 2 floors, it is the ideal setting for the many unusual arts and crafts on display. These include jewellery, textiles, glassware, ceramics, metalwork, woodwork, paintings and photographs. Percy House Gallery is worth visiting throughout the year as we receive new work all the time from our various artist's and is constantly changing.
I was looking for gifts to take back home and only had to make one stop with this amazing shop. It goes back a lot further than you would think with hidden galleries to explore. Loved it
This was the original home of the founder of covered livestock auctions in Britain - Robinson Mitchell. Ground-floor of this listed building is laid out as a crafts; collectables & antique market/centre. Enjoy walking around this beautiful nineteenth century gothic-style building with many original features & see what crafters have made or antique dealers are selling.Mon-Sat 10.30 am -4.30 pm
