Rivne (Ukrainian: Рівне [ˈriu̯nɛ]; Russian: Ровно, translit. Rovno; Polish: Równe) is a historic city in western Ukraine and the historical region of Volhynia. It is the administrative center of Rivne Oblast (province), as well as the surrounding Rivne Raion (district) within the oblast.
