Escape Hour Gig Harbor is an exhilarating real life escape experience where you will be locked in and have to navigate and solve your way out of custom made elaborately designed rooms with friends or like minded individuals, and work together to escape. Your goal is to discover hidden clues, find secret codes, and navigate through maze like scenarios, and solve fun and sophisticated puzzles.
Today was our first escape room and it certainly won’t be our last! We did Curse of the Mayan Ruins and although we didn’t escape in time it was SO MUCH FUN!!! Our two teenage boys loved it and we had such a fun day together as a family. Our gamemaster was Jasmine and she was wonderful. She made our experience so fun! COVID-wise the folks at Escape Hour were great. They were very careful to sanitize things and wear masks. The rooms are thoroughly cleaned between visitors and it felt so clean and safe. By the way...the immersive experience in the escape room went above and beyond what I expected. The room was quite incredible and so, so creative! We can’t wait to come back!

The Galaxy Uptown is the cleanest and best theater in the area. Seats are reservable and are large recliners with small tables, and plenty of aisle space, so no seat kicking or jostling. There's also an IMAX screen. While seats in that theater are also reservable, they are not the super comfortable recliners. In fact, they are a bit too upright and stiff. Lastly, this theater serves alcohol (separate counter)! Prices, as one should expect at any movie theater concession stand, are significantly inflated. Tip: Fan of classic movies? Check out their Classic Movie Mondays at 10 a.m.

Discovery Village is filled with hands on museum exhibits including an ADA compliant playground, classrooms, a healthy café and toy store. This 8000 square foot facility is open 6 days a week and includes a pre-school. Drop in classes and events include music, dance, art, tumbling, language and even an 8 week cooking class in a beautiful kitchen facility. The indoor playground is a clever design with a Pacific Northwest theme, and includes a water play area and a sand play area. Discovery Village has Wi-Fi so it makes a great place for kids to play while parents use their laptops nearby. Or parents can play alongside their kids for some great mommy or daddy and me -time. Discovery Village offers drop programs too. Discovery Village is also the home to a children’s boutique consignment store, known as the Consignment Corner. Parent’s will love the treasures to be found in this area. At least 40% of the proceeds go back to families who consign their items in this store.

Ocean5 is your year-round destination to hang out, play and connect! There's something for everyone. Check out 10 pin and Duckpin bowling on 22 lanes, a two-story Laser Challenge arena, high energy Arcade Game Room and full-service restaurant.
This was the company's first time having an event at Ocean5. AMAZING! So well staffed to be at your every need and the their staff were wonderfully fun and engaging. We had a taco bar, pizza bar, dessert bar, cheese/dried fruit/crackers bar and a wide variety of beverages including one mocktail - it was all you could eat and drink. At the end of the event we were able to take home the left over pizza and desserts - HURRAY! So much to be entertained with; bowling, duckling bowl, two story laser tag, arcade and nice seating area for conversation or playing provided board games. It was cool to have 80's music videos in the bowing and duckling bowling alley area. When we exited, Ocean5 gave each of us a little jar of yummy candy (mine was toffee) with a $10 coupon on my next visit.
