It's only a game, but that's easy to forget at Escape Plan LIVE! Thinking your way out of our movie-like scenarios is proving popular with families, friends, couples and companies! Whether you’re rescuing a hostage, solving a murder, or exploring an abandoned asylum - you have only one hour to do so and the question always remains the same… can you escape in time? Think fast, the clock is ticking.
Yesterday, my friends and I popped over to Kent to play the newest game Escape Plan Live has to offer “Air Raid”. We were asked to wait outside the door so that the other group of escapees could leave first and we could observe the social distancing rule safely. We were then shown to the hand sanitiser and taken into the room. The pre game banter was excellent with our host playing along with our private joke. Then we started the game. Wow! From the second you walk in, the scene is set. The scenery, the props, the background noise, the whole atmosphere is so authentic. We worked through the clues asking for a few prompts along the way. My friend, being a bit “jumpy”, genuinely screamed at one point, believing one aspect of the game to be believably scary, which set sympathetic me off in laughter! The game was well planned out, and the clues weren’t too easy, although prompts can be given if you’re struggling. They only had one game at a time playing, to ensure no groups overlapped and masks were worn by all staff. They also had the Track and Trace QR code available upon entry should you wish to scan it. We were not able to chat afterwards as they needed to get in and deep clean and reset the game straight after, but we totally understand that. We have enjoyed every game so far (and another two new ones to play there soon). We come all the way over the bridge from Essex, just to play these games in particular. That tells you how good we find them! Can’t wait for Santa’s Naughty List, and Classified. Definitely a Five Star establishment! Thank you very much Escape Plan Live!

Hysteria is a real life adventure game designed for small groups. Whether you're a couple, a group of friends, family or coworkers, your goal is simple, work together, and ESCAPE! FIND CLUES, CRACK CODES & SOLVE RIDDLES TO ESCAPE.
This place from start to finish has been amazing... we played Motel 66 to play on the Friday night-really good room, very authentic room, great puzzles, good music and that all well thought out etc We loved this room so much we decided to come back on the Sunday to play Aftermath and Advent Avenue. Aftermath-yet another great room, very realistic, its not scary with live actors or anything like that. Advent Ave is fun-brought along 2 people who had never done rooms like these before-this was a great way to introduce them into these sorts of rooms. 24 puzzles which meant we could divide and conquer with the right mix of simpler puzzles and those that are a bit more challenging. The owner is so so welcoming, we loved our chats with him, we have done many escape rooms before- Motel 66 and Aftermath are 2 of THE BEST rooms we have played plus it feels nice supporting a local business that clearly care. EVERYONE should play here-we will be back for the next room-see you soon!!!!!

Took my Grandson to Flipout. He thoroughly enjoyed himself with the other children bouncing on the trampoline and playing with the soft toys in the play area. There is a nice in-house Cafe that serves hot and cold snacks and decent coffee. Would definitely visit Flipout again!

Always a great experience at odeon and Chatham is right on my doorstep. I do find the food extremely expensive and menus difficult to follow.. A few more deals would probably stop us bringing food in. Always fancy the Nacho's but just to much money.

I've seen a few older reviews on here and have decided to provide an update, or at least my experiences. I've been going regularly since the new year, taking bowling as a new hobby. In terms of the inside looks, the decor, seating etc. is the same as it has been when I visited in the past (10+ years ago), however this has no influence on the actual activity in question and investing in renovating this would not be cheap. The most important thing is the lanes, which are perfectly acceptable. Like any bowling alley, there can be pin issues from time to time (very rare), this can happen everywhere you go and if it's not happened to you at an alternative location, you've been very lucky, or you've not played enough! Ownership has changed a few times, however hopefully these are here to stay. The staff are always quick to free a pin to get your ball back, re-rack the pins should anything go wrong and will happily move you to an another lane upon request (even if there are no issues). I've not yet had food from here, so am unable to comment on this, however the drinks are reasonably priced and they have a very large range of house balls to choose from. Staff are great in providing help/advice, such as information relating to the leagues that they run. Sundays-Thursdays 6PM-close is when they offer fully unlimited bowling (£10 pp), so if you're looking to get good value for money, that's the perfect time to go. If you're looking to go at alternative times, or for a fewer amount of games, they have plenty of other offers available on their website. Can't really fault the location in any way, you won't find bowling anywhere else cheaper.... unless you've got your own lane in the back garden!
