Perhaps the most unusual feature you’ll notice here is a distinctive minaret designed by an unidentified European architect. The tower leans about six degrees off centre – making this one of the most unique sights in Singapore.
This is a simple and dignified mosque, centrally located in Kampong Glam. The style is called Middle Eastern - Victorian and it was built in 1846. A prominent Singaporean lady, Hajjah Fatimah lived here and left the land in her Will for a mosque to be built. The very Victorian-looking minaret was built on sandy soil & has been tilting ever since. Currently it's about 6 degrees off. The interior has a nice space under the dome which glows greenly; simple but effective. There's a quiet little park or square just in front of the mosque, so if you're walking, you won't see the mosque as you approach, but keep going; it's definitely at 4001 Beach Rd! Before or after your visit the little park / square has benches where you can catch your breath.

CHIJMES (pronounced “chimes”) stands for the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus, a Neo-Classical style building which houses one of Singapore’s most aesthetically-pleasing dining and entertainment venues.
Chijmes with a silent J is a mouthful word to say unless you wanna spell and spread out the whole "Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus Middle Education School Singapore" that its short of. And with that gothic architecture and spire it can only be an European designed Catholic Church. Except it's not. But it did used to be the nun run sister act girls school as well as orphanage where people would leave their unwanted infant girls for nuns to raise. Now this glittering, glamorous shopping and dining complex is serving the community in much more modest way by providing a wedding venue, high end shopping, dining experience and allows leaving only tips and good reviews behind. It's still a national monument and heritage landmark though and very distinctive among all other modern buildings.

This temple is visited by local and tourists and always crowded. It is good to give thank for the good things that happened/ going to happen in our life and pray for good health, career and children etc. There are vendors outside the temple selling flowers, joss sticks for offerings. Some people will also meditate/ Chant prayed in this temple. Highly recommended but the tourists need to be respectful of the people praying there.

Bugis Junction has a mixture of shopping options to enthral even the most seasoned of shoppers. Part traditional mall, part open-air shopping district, Bugis Junction is one of the few malls in Singapore that has sidewalk cafes and shophouses sitting alongside gleaming new retail palaces.
Be sure to check out all the levels to this modern and well-appointed shopping mall. Everything from food court to eyeglasses, and kiosks to full size shops and stores this "Mall" has it all. A great place to get out of the heat, humidity or rain and if you are looking for any speciality venues I think you will find most everything here and it is easy walking distance to several areas of Singapore also.

If you’re looking for something a little different, this is the mosque to visit. The site's architectural style is eclectic, and the intricately designed palace façade features tiny doors and cross-shaped windows.
