Absolutely love this play. Our stay was delightful and the hosts were superb and even catered to dietary restrictions. 10/10 would recommend. The property was beautiful. The apartment was very clean and welcoming. There were even fresh baked cookies prepared for our arrival. A soul would stay again.

Neffdale Farm Bed & Breakfast

Take a walk around Neffdale Farm Bed & Breakfast and learn about the heritage of a family farm, here in Paradise, PA. Allow the Neff family to share their heritage in farming. A four generation dairy farm, Charlie & Glenda enjoy sharing "farm life" to their guests. Neffdale Farm consists of 165 acres of beautiful cropland, meadows and shady lawn and woods. We are located in the country, but close to restaurants, activities, craft and quilt shops, outlet malls and everything the Amish Country has to offer! During your stay at one of our two farmhouses, you may experience life on a working dairy farm and "see it like it is." You are welcome to watch the milking or help feed a calf. Look around for the dairy cows, heifers, calves, sheep, cats and a dog. Staying in a 200 year old farmhouse rich in history will add to your stay in Lancaster County!

Dancing Bear is about ten minutes away from Bucknell and the perfect base for our time in Lewisburg for the PIAA State swimming championships. Set in the countryside 10 minutes from town off Rte 15S, the property is lovely and the house large and accommodating. The setting is scenic and quiet. The owner prepared a delicious breakfast each day while I was there. I definitely recommend this property.

Enjoyed the animals

This farm is very interactive. We have stayed on a variety of farms ranging from a thoroughbred race horse farm in Kentucky to a sheep farm near Lancaster. The owners here treat their animals like family members, so this farmstay works for those who are uncomfortable with the darker aspects of agriculture. Our daily encounters included goats, donkeys, horses, a cow, chickens, cats, and a peacock. In addition, a choir of bullfrogs "performed" nightly at the pond near the farmhouse. The accommodations are on the rustic end of our farm stay experiences, but we had a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the campfire that was prepped for us during our stay. Both Farmer Gary and Seneca were friendly and helpful.

Serenity

Reviewed By Corey L

My wife and I escaped to the Oberholtzer's guest house on a long weekend babymoon. The hosts are incredibly gracious and inviting. They allowed us to choose our breakfast each day (from a menu charmingly illustrated by one of their children) and every one we tried was delicious! The guest house itself (which is attached to the main house but separated by a privacy door) was lovely. A sitting room, kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bath all to ourselves! For the nightly rate, this was an incredible value. No wifi and no tv was exactly what we were looking for, a serene place to unplug and forget about the world for a while. The farm is located just off the main road through Ephrata. I was a little worried it would be too far away from attractions like Sight & Sound and Country Kettle but the drive wasn't too bad. Map out some scenic routes and enjoy the drive.

An Amazing Farm Vacation

Reviewed By Moviestar77

We have enjoyed our Sunday brunches at the Ligonier Country Inn. To our surprise we found out that they also have a farm bed and breakfast inn not far from the town, yet totally country. We enjoyed our stay and the newly remodeled stand alone house on the property. The views from the hill were amazing. No wonder they set up chairs and weddings to be held there. We enjoyed relaxing in the hammock while being entertained by their dogs and farm animals. They grow quite a bit of vegetables and have farm dinners on the elegant outdoor patio. The catwalk inside and the farm house is breathtaking. We really enjoyed our stay.
