Langkawi is a serene archipelago of 140 islands – only a few of which are inhabited. The largest of these is the eponymous Langkawi Island, which has UNESCO World Geopark status because of its richly populated (by wildlife, that is) conservation areas. The best way to experience these ecological wonders is from high above, on the Langkawi Sky Bridge that stretches above the rainforest. Cheekily-named Pregnant Maiden freshwater lake is a great place to take a dip or play keep-away with the kleptomaniac monkeys.

Good location near Chenang beach. About 10 minutes walk. Stayed one night here during the RCMO September 2020 for my solo birthday trip. Arrived later in the evening/check in. Booked the double storey chalet with breakfast on promo price through Agoda. Very spacious & comfy. Queen size bed. Had a good night sleep. Breakfast with a view of the paddy field. Friendly & helpful staffs around to assist you if you need anything. Overall, great staycation for me! Will definitely come back and stay here again.

I was given a birthday present by my friend Abilz Letop a 1 night stay in Eagleye Cottage. The place is very nice and I can feel the nature vibes there. The room is very comfortable and they has a very unique design which is more to english style. The owner Miss Suzie were very friendly and given us a very special service and hospitality. We enjoy our bbq night during our stay there. This place deserve a 5 star rating. All the facilties provided are very good,

Staying for 2 nights in this wonderful little homestay, I have 0 expectations before arrival but once I reach it, it’s exactly what I’m looking for. Quiet and peaceful, next to the beach and has everything you needed. The owner was very nice and let me know all the amenities, although the weather is a little rough, it doesn’t affect my holiday mood. The cottage is clean and has everything you need. The bed is comfortable and the air-conditioning is so powerful that it cools down a hot room in 5 minutes. The shower has hot water and the water pressure is stronger than in my own house. Lol. There’s lots of outdoor seating area in the compound, just be careful that during evening time there are many mosquitoes. There’s a commune kitchen nearby the beach where you can do your cooking. The beach in front is full of rocks, please wear swimming shoes if you plan to jump in, otherwise, you can walk 5 minutes to the nearby beach. During my time, 90% of the beach is totally no people. You can have your own time and no one will disturb you. About restaurants, there’s only very few within walking distance. I’m not driving so I only can walk. One is the further restaurant nearby Four Season where sell Fish and Chips. Hmm, the food portion is a little small with that price, but it has a good view and draft Guinness. The other one is Din’s Cafe, if they are open in the morning I believe I would have all my meals there. Very decent local makan place (restaurant). They serve everything you’ll expect in a Malay restaurant. They also have western food and all kind of beverages other than alcohol. IT’S SO GOOD AND BETTER THAN MANY PLACES IN KL. If you need any groceries, there’s a shop about 1-15 minutes walking distance. They sell EVERYTHING you need. Surely will be back and thanks to the owner for such a wonderful stay!

I think I got a fair deal for the price paid. The staff was extremely helpful and co operative and assisted in ordering a cake for arrival to celebrate a birthday in the family. Location - North part of Langkawi. Near Ayer Hangat night market. 5 mins to black sand beach, Another secluded beach is right across the street. If the plan is to party in Cenang or Kuah then this is definitely not the right place to stay. We were in the 2BR villa for one night and then shifted to the Sea Side 4BR villa. 2BR Villa: The biggest let down was that though there is sleeping arrangement for 4, there is only one WC and Bathroom! The wi-fi signal was also patchy here. All the rooms were well furnished and appointed. The ACs worked wonderfully and the beds and sofas were comfortable. The dining area and kitchen had sufficient chairs, utensils, etc for 6 people. 4BR Villa: This place is huge! 4 rooms with beds to accomodate 3 in each room! And en-suite bath and WC for every room! We were extremely comfortable at this place. The biggest let down in the villa was the fact that the waste bin (for living and dining area) was outside on the patio and was ransacked by cats probably at night leaving a bit of a mess outside the villa. Staff - the staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a bit of a language barrier though. The place doesn't accept cards! This was a bit of a hurdle, but the staff were accommodating enough to allow us to stay and relax in the room and direct us to the nearest ATM to withdraw cash. The hotel premises can do with some upgrading to maybe include a pool, and at least a couple more vending machines as there is no food and drink options here other than 1 beverage dispenser.
