Nicknamed "Little Kyoto," Kanazawa's rich history and culture ranges from geisha districts to a 16th-century castle. Locals here enjoy the good life away from big-city buzz, whether they’re picking up fresh seafood at Omicho Market or strolling Kenroku-en Garden’s manicured paths.

「暮らすように旅する」をコンセプトにしたホテルで、ご家族・ご友人同士で楽しいひと時をお過ごしください。 Please enjoy Kanazawa with your family and friends! We have a lot of amenities and facilities in the hotel and the guest rooms. 営業時間:7~21時 Operation time is 7:00 ~ 21:00.
So we arrived in Kanazawa after a 4-hour drive from Osaka ready to freshen up in our hotel room before hitting the streets. No, we were told. Check-in is at 3 and you are here at 1. If you want to check in early, pay 1500 Yen per hour. Same goes for late check out. And check out is at 10 A.M. so if we decide to leave at noon as people often do when they're on vacation, we'll need to pay an additional 1500 Yen per hour. And this hotel already costs 30000 Yen per night. What do you get for it? A nice bath, a living/sleeping area with two twin beds, a small kitchenette, and a separate bedroom with a double bed. And get this! Our pillows smelled like pee!!! If you want to enter the lobby to have breakfast (just bread and tea and coffee), you have to wait until 7. It's over at 10. I will never stay here again, and I hope that my humble review helps you realize what you're getting yourself into before you make your reservation, fellow traveller.

Kulton hotel (apartment) is located in center of downtown Kanazawa. It's just 10min walk from Kanazawa station. Easy access to tourist sites, Kenrokuen-Garden, Castle, 21st modern art museum and Sushi dining area Ohmicho fish market.
A welcome way to finish up our time in Japan, where we'd had some fairly rugged accommodation (by choice) - so this felt like a nice bit of city living. It's small, stairs are narrow and steep, and the bathroom takes some navigating, but it's clean, well-kept, well appointed as far as kitchen, fridge etc go; in a great location (quiet, close to the station, plenty of quirky eateries nearby) and was perfect for us. Beds and pillows gave us a great night's sleep. The host was very helpful leading up to our stay. We would stay again.

Brand-new modern one-bedroom apartments with balconies. Incredible 360-degree views from the rooftop terrace.
We (family of 3) stayed in this lovely hotel for 3 nights exploring Kanazawa, including day trips to the Noto peninsula. The location is really convenient, only 10min on foot and you are in the busy part of town. There are free parking spots available, too. The apartments are brand new and super clean and have all the facilities and amenities you need. The doors are locked with a keypad number which gives a really safe feeling plus you don’t have to carry a key around. Bill, the owner, is great and very helpful and he even stocked the fridge with bottles of water and gave us a little welcome gift. We enjoyed the rooftop lounge area in the evening. Definitely highly recommend this place for your stay in Kanazawa! Thank you, Bill, for a great stay!
