My grand daughter enjoys drawing, so when I planned a trip to Branson, I found the Maple Hill Ceramics art studio and made an appointment for us to paint there. What a treat it was! We were greeted by Freeman when we arrived (after he helped us find the correct route after getting turned around). He had everything ready for us when arrived. We spent 2 1/2 hours painting, with Freeman's guidance. He took us on a tour of the facility while our projects dried. There was an aura of peace when we stepped through the doors. Freeman seemed to really care about making sure we enjoyed our time there. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience at Maple Hill Ceramics! It will always been one of those days that brings back great memories!

Ozark Mountain Craft Mall

Ozark Mountain Craft Mall was created with the love of crafts in mind! We have all had creative minds as long as we can remember! We sew, quilt, crochet, cross stitch, applique, we paint all sorts of stuff, make custom tumblers, we’ve done woodworking, wood burning, jewelry of all kinds and we create all kinds of everything we can think of!

On a recent trip to Branson my husband got a wild hair to check and see if there were any wood-working classes in the area. We googled, and low-and-behold, scroll sawing classes were available less than a mile from where we were driving! We stopped in, met Gaylen Montgomery, and both of us signed up for a 3.5hr class for the next day. My husband is a woodworker, but has never done scroll sawing. I have never done any type of wood-working, but with Gaylen's instruction, was able to complete 3 projects and learn a LOT in the process! The people who run Ozark Mountain Craft Mall are super helpful and friendly, and they have a whole mall of quality, hand-crafted items for sale - go check them out!
