Using artifacts to tell the story, the exhibits give a sense of the rapid changes northern Nevada has undergone, from ranching and mining to the introduction of the railroad and into modern times. We moved here a little over 1 year ago and went for a walk in downtown Sparks. Stopped in and truly enjoyed learning about the history of our new home. Very interesting and informative displays.

Always a fun place to visit and many departments to choose from. Friendly staff and easy to get to as it is right off of I80 freeway.

This is a great park for walking with or without the dog. Family friendly with a kids playground and swimming in the season. There is a veterans memorial area which is nicely designed in the front and you can canoe or kayak in the marina.
