We called in here for pre dinner drinks and enjoyed unwinding sat on the terrace overlooking the golf course. Lovely staff and decent measures at reasonable prices added to the enjoyable visit.

Founded in 2008 by British expats Sue and Rod Weeding, our non-profit rescue centre saves neglected, abused and abandoned horses, ponies and donkeys across the Alicante region of Spain. We open to the public on the first Sunday of every month from 1pm to 4pm. Meet our horses, ponies and donkeys and hear their incredible rescue stories during a free guided tour.
This is a great day out for young and old the Easy Horse Care Rescue Centre used to do free tours the first Sunday of the month. But since Covid you can book a private tour any day of the week it's €10.00 for an adult and €5.00 for children it's well worth the money as you get to meet the 122 horses, ponies and donkeys and hear some of their stories. There are also the beautiful peacocks, chickens, Isadora the pot bellied pig and gorgeous Ruppert the pig to see. The private tour allows you a more personable view of the animals and you still have the opportunity to buy drinks and snacks from the snack bar. I would definitely recommend a visit if you are anywhere near Rojales it really is a very special place.

Visited with 3 year old in July. Ended up going back another 2 times within our week, it was perfect for us! Very good value for money - both entry to the park and food / drink. Able to take own food and drinks if you wish - a welcome change from bag searches at other parks. Lots for our little one to keep him entertained. Lifeguards were extremely helpful and kind. Could not fault it. Thanks - we'll be back!

I really like going to this place. There's lots of cave houses made into artisan shops where you can get things from handmade purses and art to wishing trees and jewellery. It's best to visit in spring or autumn when the weather is not too hot or cold and just have a good mooch around. Check the website for when it's fully open: there could be a band on and you can take your own picnic and just take in the atmosphere. There are often other stalls there lining the walkways. Note that it is quite hilly.
