The principal town and capital of French St. Martin, Marigot is an appealing spot with brightly colored houses, a scattering of restaurants and lively produce and crafts markets. It’s a great base for exploring St. Martin’s secluded beaches (many clothing optional) and its more vibrant, family-popular ones. Marigot is within easy reach of the famed restaurants at nearby Grand Case, said to have the Caribbean's best dining. Kept temperate by trade winds, Marigot stays warm and sunny year-round.

I am a Virtuoso-accredited travel advisor based in Vancouver BC (Canada) and cannot thank owner Fitzroy enough for the very high standards of service during several private transfers for VIP customers visiting Saint Martin / Sint Maarten. I very highly recommend Speks' transfer services.

Those who hike to the top of the island's highest mountain are rewarded with wonderful views.
It's the highest leak on the island. You can stop at Loterie Farms and hike up. The hike is sort.of challenging....bring water and take your time! Jump in the pool when you get back. There's also a road all the way to a top with a short ten min hike to the peak! AMAZING VIEWS! you must do this!

All kinds of things for sale, hats, t shirts, etc etc. Look hard, bargain a little and you will take something home. Recommended.

With steps to get to the top, it’s a very short and doable climb. The view is so pretty! The history of Fort Louis is quite interesting.
