Thanks to volunteers holding a screech owl and barred owl, we were able to see them up close. Another volunteer who feeds walked with us and gave us a personal account of each bird in the enclosures.

The Maitland Art Center was founded as an art colony (called the Research Studio) in 1938 by visionary American artist and architect André Smith (1880-1959).
This place has a magical vibe that will make you just want to sit and relax on one of benches around the museum. It is romantic, quiet and well worth a trip off the beaten path for.

Lake Lily Park is home to the Maitland Farmer's Market every Sunday, and it's a great market! Lots to see and buy, great scenery. They have coffee, honey, plants, etc. Lots of fun and I would definitely recommend :)

Wow! We loved this place! The food was delicious and the service was great. We also felt safe, since masks were required. My husband had the turkey panini and I had a burger with a side of mac and cheese. It was the perfect day to sit outside and linger.

As others have mentioned not a fancy setup but very inexpensive if you buy multiple rides. This track had karts that very young kids could drive (age 5) so a very good fit for our kids who range from 7-13. The people running it were very helpful and there were no lines when we were at the track.
