The nation's tallest lighthouse was moved to a different location to preserve it.
Was a great experience! Tour groups were formed quickly.. beautiful grounds around the lighthouse to explore, informative tour guide & well worth the climb to the top! Amazing views from the top deck! Just an awesome experience!

Beach located along North Carolina's Outer Banks that is recommended for windsurfing.
Great place to watch the kite surfers and sunset. Loved the easy walk to the beach and shallow waters, but the rough sand and muddy bottom was not for us. We prefer the ocean side.

We are a fresh seafood market. We carry fresh local seafood from tuna to clams, blue crabs when available, spices, and sauces. Also included in our shop are gift items, tackle, and camping supplies, such as sewer hoses, water hose, and filters.
Great People ! We will be there to buy fresh seafood! The guy called the boat to see if the clams were coming in . The owners are the best people . Stopped in last Oct & will visit Nov. 2020.

We were searching for an eastern cottonmouth and it didn’t take us long to find this beauty. Lots of snakes and wildlife here so be careful and keep your eyes open. Nice canopy and not overly busy (we saw one other couple). Great spot to check out after the lighthouse
