An outdoor paradise offering swimming, boating, fishing, biking, hiking and more.
Although the campground was full, there was still plenty of room to maintain distance. Nice walk to the bog in the late afternoon. Bugs did not bite, but did fly around the eyes. Even the background road noise did not interfere with a perfect day to walk the park.

It was a beautiful fall day. We enjoyed walking along the lake and downtown. Nice area for little shopping and a meal. Restrooms by the tourist information center and Paul Bunyan Park/Statue. Paul Bunyan Park has picnic tables, benches and pavilion if you want to enjoy a take out meal or just relax.

The kids were home from college for the weekend and we were looking for something fun to do. It was a fun way to spend a beautiful winter afternoon. We will definitely do it again soon.
