Reviewed By Hamm14The Catshuis is located in the center of Leeuwarden, at 5 minutes by walk of a public parking. The hotel was just great ! The staff was very welcoming. The room was beautiful, clean and well-equipped, very quiet in the night. All the hotel is very charming in an old bourgeois house. The breakfast was just great ! A full plate of breads, cheese, delicatessen, eggs... Too many things for me. I recommend warmly this hotel as it is just perfect !

Reviewed By 877albertnSchoon, basic ingericht en super locatie in centrum vd stad. in checken ging voorspoedig met een code. Is een kleinschalig complex een voormalige bakkerij. Er is een lift aanwezig. al met al een prettig verblijf gehad.

Prestigious overnight stays in bed and breakfast De Olde Signorie. The Olde Signorie is the ideal place to sleep for a visit to Leeuwarden. Historic and luxurious salons of over 40 m2. Each salon has its own bathroom and a special cultural-historical interior. You are a guest in a detached national monument, right in the center of the Frisian cultural capital, so that everything is within walking distance. The room comes with a free parking space so that you can park your car safely on your own walled property. The salons are located on the ground floor and are therefore wheelchair friendly.

We stayed in the room that had been the Mayor’s office, an enormous space with high ceilings, chandeliers, gorgeous old floor tiles at the edges of the carpet, and a tiled fireplace framed by massive woodwork and topped with a large oil portrait of a historic mayor. The paneled walls, doors, and beamed ceiling are all painted a fabulous deep sage green, while the tuxedo sofa, small hassocks, and dining chairs are emerald. The effect is instant sensory immersion - old-new, elegant-simple, imposing-comfortable. The room is split between living and dining areas on one side and a huge king-plus bed on the other. Wow. What a treat. The owners were charming - easy to interact with online and very helpful with safely parking our unusual vehicle in the free, outdoor lot. There is outdoor seating, a hot tub, and a sauna, for use In warmer weather, and there are several options for dinner/drinks nearby - including one in the Michelin Guide - we had an excellent meal at an Italian place. Highly recommended, but note: the breakfast is an extra charge.

Perfecte plek om te overnachten in Leeuwarden centrum
Reviewed By LeonHansWe hebben afgelopen weekend (gezin met baby) overnacht bij Stadslogies in Leeuwarden. Je parkeert bij Zaailand en dan na 25 meter sta je bij de ingang van Stadslogies. Midden in het centrum! Prachtige appartementen. Schoon, ruim, modern ingericht, groot. We hebben echt genoten van het ruime appartement. Een mooie grote woonkamer met eethoek en een prima keuken. In de avond nog lekker tv gekeken en er is zelfs netflix. Gratis wifi ook beschikbaar. Eigenaren zijn snel en makkelijk bereikbaar online of telefoon en erg vriendelijk. We komen snel terug.

Boxspring vs stretcher
Reviewed By ItsSuuSWe hadden met een groep van 7 meiden twee verdiepingen gehuurd. Er stonden op beide twee-persoonskamers een boxspring en daarbij was een stretcher (maatje twijfelaar) bij gezet. Dat was ons niet duidelijk bij boeken : 4 slaapplekken op 1 kamer De stretcher scheen bijzonder oncomfortabel te zijn. Ander minpunt: slechts 1 rol wc papier op voorraad Wat goed was: code om binnen te komen, was schoon en goede centrale locatie.
