Lovely spot located less than 2 hours from Seattle. A complete getaway-- secluded property, self-contained, artfully decorated suite with generous breakfast. Nature walks, visits with our animals, hammock in the garden, books and movies. We are very near excellent biking and walking trails, beaches and forests. Our professional kitchen and covered patio with stone fireplace is a perfect gathering place. Our vintage school bus "Bussie Smith" sleeps up to 12 people, large camping area, nice bathroom facilities-- great for bicycle camping!
Incredibly well made and generously proportioned breakfast. A really nice apartment with quaint furnishings, a huge array of interesting books, and a really pleasant farm with friendly donkeys and sheep! Don't miss out, this place is awesome.

Darla made us feel like family. Comfortable among her beautiful, artful home. Best bed away from home. You will feel at home on Whidbey. Easy to find though off the beaten path in a quiet neighborhood.

When your life is filled with schedules and traffic and stress, this is the place to go to wind down. We had a wonderful time relaxing, recharging and reconnecting. The hosts were sweet and non-intrusive and breakfast was yummy!! We enjoyed the jacuzzi tub and the fireplace, both were requirements for our trip and both were perfect!

We stayed in a house near this building. Even tho we were curious to go in, it looked just too dirty and run down. From where we stayed we could see the “deck”. It’s condemned! You can’t walk on it. I wouldn’t consider entering this building, let alone sleep in it!!

Pleasant, but caveats--I think it is important for people to know that you are literally staying in someone's home at the Blue Willow. You do not have a seperate entrance and for those who are not used to this, it can be quite strange. They do a wonderful breakfast and have a great view. Deer on the lawn every morning, and a cute dog and cat live there. However, the bed was uncomfortable, stiff sheets, small queen-size. The room was too hot, and no screen door onto the deck. So it was either bugs or heat. Too many antiques for my taste, and very small room and small bathroom too. No water pressure in the shower. Tiny TV set and the beach is a two-mile drive away. Great walks in the woods though.
