We didn't stay at the hotel, but their lunches are delicious. My husband was more than happy with his $10 rump steak meal, while I just loved my haloumi burger. It was so filling and delicious I forfeited the lovely toasted bun and seasoned chips to make sure I had room for the rest. Tasty!!

This motel is one of the best country motels I have stayed at. Rooms were impeccably clean and tidy, well stocked with toiletries and beverages, comfortable bedding and daily room service. Beautifully landscaped surrounds and really quiet and peaceful. Well positioned on way to the town centre. Pool is small but enough to cool off in on a hot day.

We opted for the Richmond Motor Inn...adjacent to the Heritage Inn....as it was a business trip. The RMI was convenient/handy to downtown, the RSL, a good pub and coffee/breakfast. Great room....clean and tidy with nice decor/furnishings.... Check-in & checkout were a breeze.... Thanks....

The Cubana Ballina, a stylish modern motel with a cool retro vibe. An extensive make-over was completed at the beginning of the year and now very inch of the property has been renovated with sparkling clean bathrooms, brand-new comfortable beds & pillows, designer interiors, brand new smart TVs and reverse cycle A/C and our signature minibars. With the newest and cleanest rooms in the whole of Ballina, The Cubana Ballina stands out above the rest as a super stylish space which is fun and relaxed for the whole family. Bring back the golden age of the east coast road trip this summer and drop in to one of our inspiring retro properties in Ballina and Nambucca Heads showcasing the playful vintage style of hotels from the 1960s.
I was greeted by a lady in reception who was funny and extremely helpful (sorry cannot remember her name). The room was nicely renovated, bed was super comfy and I slept like a log. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip through Ballina.

We stayed here for 5 nights in October 2020. We had the Paris and Banff rooms. The rooms were lovely and had wonderful windows letting in the fresh air. The balcony was amazing, sitting there with a breeze watching the kids in the aqua park and waterslides across the road. The fridge and freezer had stopped working but they were onto it straight away. The hosts were amazing and went the extra mile. I would totally recommend this place. Lots of parking (free) and great coffee shops and restaurants near by.

This was our Christmas 2020 Ballina trip hotel where we stayed. The hotel was in a great location bang in the city, walking distance from restaurants, pubs and shops, bang opposite the Ballina RSL. The hotel from the outside and inside looked very heritage and built with the same theme. The rooms were decent size, not big but not cramped. The bathrooms were very very clean and overall the whole place had a great feel. There was a small pool to keep the kids busy and good underground parking spaces provided for each room. The room had basic facilities, microwave, tea coffee maker, toaster, cutlery and ironing facilities. The only thing which was a major letdown was the internet connection. We were in the back building last room (#25), the wifi was non-existent. On today’s world, with my family, it’s a cardinal sin! Having being on the road for 7 days already and using up almost 80% of my 40 GB mobile data, my family was extremely frustrated with no internet strength at our room. We asked the reception and they tried rebooting the router, but no solution to the problem. And Christmas meant the city was virtually shutdown with nothing to do. So that pushed us to change the hotel and book ourselves in the Ramada to salvage the Christmas trip. So even though the hotel and room was good enough, the wifi just let us down. And maybe not having a balcony added to the boredom as well.
