Amazing family trips !! The beach is great and the sea isn’t to deep for the little ones to also play ... the little paddling pool in the promenade is fantastic was a quick play and wash off .. can’t wait to go bk !!!

Great beach stretching for miles, flat hard sand makes it great for games and playing, colourful beach huts line the prominard and the life guard station well manned with good guidance given to surfers and bathers alike. Lots of space for social distancing during COVID 19

A good walk from the scarborough spa, where they had a band playing, walk along the sea front, with plenty to see n do, the harbour is a good place to sit n watch too, the stroll to the North bay is a nice walk, with the castle ruins above you and sea to watch the dolphins playing, we were lucky enough to spot dolphins a few times, we went to visit Peasholm park, which I know from when I was a child and we used to holiday in Scarborough, many moons ago...the sea life centre is at the far point in the North Bay.... we were lucky with the weather and was able to enjoy the view in the sunshine....

Lovely beach and great walk from Whitby to Sandsend- it takes about 75 minutes to walk the 3 miles There’s a couple of cafes at Sandsend to stop and have a drink and cake after or before the walk

Excellent surf, fab little surf shop with knowledgable staff, this really is a hidden gem of a beach in Yorkshire. Unspoilt, with a little beach shack selling essentials, loads of parking nearby great views across the bay. Love it and can't wait to go back.
