Oak Hill Gallery

Reviewed By billyleeartist - Mornington Peninsula, Australia

Oak Hill Gallery is a community gallery that gives artists of all experiences a chance to exhibit. You can see amateur and professional and proudly displayed together. There is no pretense and it is a unique opportunity to be among other artist. I personally exhibit my art all over Australia. I also sell my own art through different internet platforms. However, I choose to participate in all of the Oak Hill Exhibitions. Its an opportunity to support this wonderful community of artists and art lovers. The gallery is run by volunteers and is a non for profit gallery.

The Nook Gallery & Studios

Tucked away in the Mornington industrial estate, you'll find The Nook Gallery and Studios – a versatile space for visionary brands, passionate entrepreneurs and talented local creatives. The Nook opened in 2014, initially as a gallery for emerging creatives, filling a much-needed gap on the Mornington Peninsula. Now, it’s evolved into something much bigger with private studios for creative business owners, in addition to its two gallery spaces and hip courtyard area. With the space hired out for all kinds of creativity, one week you’ll find original artwork adorning the walls of the gallery and the next it might be singing lessons, yoga classes, a launch event, a photo shoot, or a popup sale. Industrial vibes make The Nook a popular destination for weddings and engagement parties with ample space for food truck parking out the front and a bar onsite (plus, the gallery makes a great dance floor).
