The nice thing about the Magnetic Hill Zoois that the enclosures and exhibits get better every year. There are a wide variety of animals and animal experiences and the layout is beautiful. Young and old will love it.

We love the Huntsman Aquarium. Due to COVID-19 the touch tanks are for viewing only but the kids still loved it. The seals are always a hit and when the tide is out you can walk down to the beach and explore the sea bed for urchins, star fish, crabs and other sea life.

Open from June to September every year, the New Brunswick Aquarium and Marine Centre is Atlantic Canada's largest aquarium, unmatched in size and quality of displays, anywhere east of Quebec city. Our staff is available to teach anything from the fishing industry to the biology of the sealife showcased in our 31 display tanks ranging from 250 liters to 28000 liters. Displaying over 100 species of fish and invertebrates representing over 3000 specimens, we basically showcase our natural aquatic heritage better than anywhere else in the Atlantic Provinces. Our Aquarium is simply the best place to experience what the aquatic world has to offer in terms of authenticity, beauty and learning possibilities all thru the visit; from the moment you set foot in the building, to the moment you regretfully exit it. Our natural wonder is our live collection of indigenous fish and invertebrate species presented in an unmatched quality setting. The fish tanks are set up as to offer the best view possible of the magnificent specimens on display, from the enigmatic blue lobster to our hefty 25 pounder; form the smallest shrimp to our streamline 8 foot sturgeon. Nobody can do better in New Brunswick or even the Atlantic Provinces.
We were two adults that visited this site on August 27, 2019. When we arrived on site, the parking lot was nearly full so we knew this was a popular place to visit. It was a great experience. We learned so much about marine life. All descriptions are in both English & French and very easy to understand. Throughout the site, there are video machines and there are a number of short videos, in both languages, to watch. I watched two. One on lobster fishing, which was fascinating. Another video was on ice fishing. This video blew me away. I thought that I had an idea about ice fishing but it is much more complicated than I thought!! There is a touch pool outside where you can get up real close and touch some of the marine life!! The kids loved it. There was also a seal pool. Unfortunately, we had missed the feeding time. Apparently, it is quite the show!! If you intend to visit, it might be best to phone beforehand and get the feeding times!! The staff were very kind and helpful and are bilingual. We recommend this aquarium and marine life centre. Bring all the family, especially the children!! Do not forget to check out the gift boutique. We managed to pick up a gift for a neighbour who is taking care of our condo while we visit the Maritimes!
