A vineyard and winery making world-class still and sparkling wine from Champagne grape varieties grown on site. Open for sales and tastings 11am till 5pm on Monday to Saturday. Tours of the vineyard and winery on Fridays and Saturdays at 11am and 2.30pm through out the year plus tours on Wednesdays from June to the end of September.
The tour was really interesting. I thought our host kept things lively and interesting - enough facts balanced with anecdotes. He was welcoming and managed all the group's questions and queries. We had a short wine tasting afterwards - 2 still whites and one sparkling. Delicious wines - I was lucky to be able to buy a couple of bottles which I'm saving for a treat in the dull winter months! I particularly liked their Bacchus Dry. I twisted hub's arm to visit for a vineyard tour - to be fair I booked it and paid - he drove. Wanted to do this tour for ages but need a designated driver as the location is away from public transport. We did consider walking there from Lyme Regis but I didn't fancy walking back afterwards! This was the Classic tour at £15 a head which included the tasting of three wines. There is a also a Grand Tour - maybe next time... It's a beautiful setting - I'd have happily chilled out in the vineyard with a bottle or two...Great place - well worth a visit.

English Oak is the perfect venue to discover the delights of an English Vineyard, comprising 23,000 vines, producing award winning English Sparkling Wine. Tours hosted by the vineyard owners, run on Fridays and Saturdays through the summer. Unusual business meeting and function services - including fabulous vineyard weddings - are also available on request.
We've just returned from a fabulous vineyard tour and wine tasting. Went with some friends from our local wine society - socially distanced of course - and Sarah and Andrew were so interesting, knowledgeable and entertaining. Plus the wine tasting with food to match was just superb.

We had a great time doing the wine tasting and lunch. We are not wine buffs but the talk by Clare and Corinne was really interesting and we learnt an awful lot as it was put across in an easy manner. Their passion for their process whilst keeping it eco friendly was truly inspiring. This also applies to the buildings, water usage and tending to the vines with tlc rather than lots of sprays. Lunch was yummy with locally sourced ham and cheese which helped soak up the several different wines we sampled during the morning (we were reluctant to spit it out as all of them were really nice). This is a must place to go or a gift for family or friends. You will not be disappointed with the presentation and content given by Clare and her all girl team. Thank you all for a lovely morning.

Wine Estate. Single site vineyard based just outside Dorchester in Dorset with winery, cafe, tasting room and shop on site selling sparkling wine and tours.
I would highly recommend making a trip to this vineyard. We went as a group of five 21-26 year olds to do a self-guided tour of the vineyard before a tasting. It was lovely to have the time to walk through the vineyard at our own pace with an information sheet telling us about the grapes. We then sat down for the tasting. Emma, who talked us through the three sparkling wines we sampled, is an excellent speaker. She managed to talk about wine in a totally unpretentious and incredibly informative way. Our group had different levels of prior knowledge about wine but we all felt engaged during the tasting. It was one of the highlights of our holiday in Dorset. And of course the wine tastes excellent too! We bought a bottle of each of the ones we had tasted.
An artisan vineyard established in 2004 on the gentle south facing slopes of the Dorset Downs benefitting from high light levels, the Jurassic Coast being only two and a half miles away. Tasting and tours available!
