Last year I lived in Valencia and joined VMEC for several one day hikes and various weekend trips. I enjoyed it a lot. First of all, because the chosen trails are always outstanding, the organisation is amazing and the company really nice. I hiked with various groups in València and this one, is definitely one of the best. What is special about VMEC that it offers not only easy and medium level hikes, but also with a high level which are more challenging. Everyone can find something what fits to him.

We, a group of seven, had a customed tour to Turuel and Albarracin. Our tour guide Daniel and minivan driver Hose are so friendly, considerate, knowledgeble and humourous. We laughed a lot during the tour. Daniel told us interesting stories and show us most beautiful sceneries. He even took momerable pictures of us. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone who visit Valencia.

Amir is incredibly knowledgeable on the subject, ask any questions on the history of the region, he has an answer. Firstly we followed Roman tracks on road level, then went underground, where, naturally, one expects to see Roman relics. Our trip on the bus and into Sagunta was enjoyable, especially with the ordered tapas at Jesùs' bar to look forward to. A climb up to the restored theatre and on to the castle was a little strenuous, but only if you had Tarancino with the snacks! Back down steep, narrow lanes, through the ancient Jewish quarter, to the bus. All in all, an informativ outing and money well spent. Highly recommended!
