Bournemouth’s seven miles of beach and exceptionally warm microclimate make it a favorite of U.K. travelers. There’s something for everyone here, whether you’re a watersports fanatic (try surfing lessons!) or just want to let your kids splash around in the calm waters. For a traditional Bournemouth vacation, rent a classic beach hut.

Discover some of the most scenic coastline in southern England on a coach trip from Bournemouth. Travel to the famous Jurassic Coast, via Poole Harbour and Sandbanks, to experience the nation's first natural UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit both Lulworth Cove and the natural limestone arch of Durdle Door for 3 hours at your own pace but with plenty of information and maps to help you along the way. Have a cream tea or fish and chips in one of the many tearooms, cafes or pubs in the village of West Lulworth. The departure point in Bournemouth has great connections with trains and coaches making this a great day trip from London and the South East. Not just for the summer! This trip runs all year and provides an amazing day out, even in the depths of winter, just be sure to wrap up warm and look forward to a hot drink in one of the cosy pubs or cafes once you have blown the cobwebs out.

This trip was a really spontaneous decision right before the end of the summer, but it ended up being one of its best parts! Paul is a fantastic guide with plenty of interesting stories and details to tell about the places! Was a joy to listen to him, as well as to explore on your own, since everybody was given time to do so at each stop. Throughout the trip the weather went through every change imaginable, but the it didn't make the experience any less enjoyable (in fact, the opposite!).

Welcome to another great London away-day. You will travel through England's counties and countryside to Durdle Door. Here you will have a great time to explore the splendid rock formation that overlooks the English Channel with a beautiful, natural calcareous archway. Did you know that The Jurassic Coastline is a World Heritage Site in England? About 25 million years ago, the African tectonic plate hit the European plate causing huge pressure to build the alpine chain. A layer of hard calcareous stone, almost vertically out of the seabed, formed the Durdle Door itself. Heading to the east, we will reach the lovely beach city of Bournemouth. You will find plenty to see and do here. Bournemouth beach is the ideal location regardless of the weather or time of the year, whether it's chilling on a deckchair and walking along traditional seaside piers or a relaxing beach hut. Not only Bournemouth but also Lulworth Cove will amaze you with its natural wonder. Join us for a great day out!
