Mercado de Libros is a second hand bookshop established in 2015, where you can buy or exchange books. Our goal is to offer good titles at accessible prices. All our books are in excellent condition. We have 7600 books in Spanish and a vast and fine selection of books in other languages (English, German, French, Italian, and Portuguese). The two-floor shop is located in Quito, in the valley of Tumbaco, 25 minutes from the airport. The store is on the 3rd floor at Ventura Mall. We have free parking, you can get the store by electric stairs or elevator. The bookstore has a reading lounge to be used freely. Visitors can also ask for coffee or tea to compliment their reading experience. We have free WiFi in case you need to use the reading lounge as a workplace or update social media. It’s a cozy place, with good ambient music, finely and elegantly decorated. The idea is to offer a bookish experience by itself beyond only purchasing books to make your visit to Ecuador even more enjoyable.
