Laser Clay Shooting is a unique activity which is similar to the traditional countryside sport of clay pigeon shooting but uses guns that fire lasers instead of live ammunition. This makes it completely safe for novices and experts alike. It's great fun for small and large groups. It's easy to get to grips with and requires no previous experience.
Inclusions: Use of laser clay shooting equipment, Coffee and/or Tea

We visited to give our two grandchildren for an entertaining experience in the fresh air. They chose to do an hour of archery, followed by the four Viking games. To begin with, it was a pleasure to spend time in such stunning surroundings. It was a cold afternoon, but that did not deter from the fun at all. From the moment we arrived, Kev was welcoming and helpful. He explained everything clearly so that the kids were very quickly enjoying the activities. He encouraged, advised and praised their efforts. There was never time to get bored because everything was a game. We loved every minute! Both the kids were happy to discover they had a skill for archery. They were encouraged to focus on improving their own scores rather than direct competition. The Viking games were a revelation; all new to us, but great fun. Brings is much harder than it looks. Stage and Mollky were easy to learn and enjoy. Kubb was a little more complicated, but what a clever game! Kev explained the riles as we went along and we thoroughly enjoyed it. All in all it was a fantastic way to spend time as a family. Absolutely perfect for teenagers. We will certainly return and highly recommend the whole experience. We can't wait for the kids to be old enough to try axe throwing!

Fabulous afternoon spent with Jon and Sarah. The children absolutely loved it! Great workshop, well explained and easy to follow instructions - would recommend to all ages :-)
This walk has been designed by the owner of Wales Outdoors to take in the best of the Wye Valley in the Symmonds Yat area. From the start at the wonderful village store we regularly take in wonderful places of interest such as the viewpoint from Symmonds Yat Rock that looks down upon the almost unbelievable Huntsham Oxbow. The woodland is mostly ours as we are, mostly, off the beaten track throughout. This is a skilfully designed day with plenty of interest for the young and the young at heart alike :)

As always a great trip. Despite the unexpected weather conditions Andy adapted the route to ensure a safe ascent and we were treated to magnificent views and clean crisp white snow. Andy as usual kept the conversation and banter going the whole time, and is a mine of knowledge about the area. An enjoyable and memorable first time up Snowdon and I am already planning my next trip

Jo - major apologies for the delay in this reply. As a preface, Trip Advisor would not allow a "June 2019" event option. Thanks again for organizing our 75th D-Day tour (June 2nd -8th, 2019) with Tony Smith, as it was a treasured lifetime event. Tony’s passion for the history of WWII and D-Day was obvious, and he was a superb tour guide, driver, logistics organizer and host. I would unconditionally recommend “In the Footsteps” and Tony to anyone considering a Normandy tour. Tony was highly organized and focused on providing maximum personal value to each of the attendees in our group. Although our itinerary was precisely planned well in advance, Tony joined us each morning for breakfast, and based on his knowledge of our group, he informally presented a few optional/additional customized stops or sites for our discussion and approval – the sign of an experienced tour guide which all of us greatly appreciated. I am a Vietnam-era USMC veteran and a lifetime WWII history buff - from my perspective, Tony provided invaluable insights into the planning, logistics and strategy of the D-Day invasion on all five invasion beaches. Every site, memorial or stop during our tour was riveting and educational - sobering, humbling and overwhelming at many points, but invaluable. Bonus visit on June 6th - Maisy Battery. From a logistics perspective, we clearly understood that our tour was organized on short notice in context of a major event like the 75th D-Day Anniversary. Our hotel in Cabourg was surprisingly practical and comfortable. Thanks again for securing accommodations on short notice. As you may recall, our tour had seven (7) plus Tony, so Steve Yates and I enjoyed a bit of extra room in the backseat of our 9-passenger van. As every day on-tour was extended, I would highly recommend a maximum of seven tourists per van for future tours.
