We were lucky to have a private tour. John is such a friendly and knowledgeable person/guide. He did not leave any questions we had unanswered, not just about the Panama Canal and nature but also about other Panama topics. He clearly loves this county ???????? He was very punctual when he picked us up at our hotel. We saw ships in the canal 3 kinds of monkeys and many different birds. 2 kinds of Tucans. I would recommend this to everyone!

This trip was just enough. The partial transit put us on the water with the rising water levels of the locks, a relatively short period of time moving from one to the other. The boat was of a good size with good views of the happenings. Our guide JC was knowledgeable and friendly as were the rest of the crew. We were served breakfast and lunch while aboard ship. My one complaint is that finding the point of departure was challenging. I had given myself 30 minutes to be lost and just made it to the boat prior to launch. This 5 hour activity is time well spent.

After a 10-month closure, this wonderful place is again welcoming guests for amazing jungle experiences. If you want to see the jungle and Panama canal from a distance, you can go on a cruise, but if you want to actually experience the jungle and actually cross the canal in a fun ride in a small boat, come here. Here we had up-close encounters with monkeys and crocodiles, caught fish, kayaked to a waterfall that I swam in and spotted parrots, toucans, and howler monkeys from the sundeck of the boat. There's more adventures available here we didn't even do. Everything is clean, food freshly prepared and very good and beds comfortable. We almost settled for just one night here but I'm so glad we stayed two! My wife and I have visited central America 10 times and this is our favorite place we've stayed.
