Went for a lovely trek of Godavri. Spent half a day with the owner, Tulsi ji and a guide. Such a fanatic experience, the most friendly and knowlegable company to work with in Nepal. I loved their focus on safety and comfort. Highly recommend them!
The village is about 80 km from Kathmandu and 8,000 feet above sea level. Most villagers understand only the local language and cannot speak foreign languages such as English. You may be surprised by the visitor's visit because you don't often see foreigners, but it will be warm and kind. You can learn about Nepali from local children, teach them games, sing songs, and enjoy various cultural exchanges. And in the village, daily Nepalese home cooking is served. Enjoy Nepalese cuisine made by harvesting rice cooked with firewood in a red clay furnace and homemade vegetables. Within a few minutes' walk you will find magnificent Himalayan peaks such as Ganesh Himal, Lanterns and Manaslu, as well as waterfalls.

The Vijaya stupa is good for short hiking. It is 2hr from swayambhu as I travelled from here. This is peaceful place and not so crowded. Not recommended in rainy seasons.
