taking the boat trip up the Guadiana from VR de Santo Antonio is a wonderful way to spend a day. the river trip is quite scenic with hills, fields, old farms along the shore, heron and other wildlife. my only complaint is the canned music that really doesn't add to the experience in any positive way. at Foz de Odeleite, the 'hour' totally non-strenuous tour through the village is interesting and educational. the destination hotel at the top has a vista over the river valley and countryside. the lunch generously served with plenty of wine is alone worth the trip. accompanied by music in which all staff and patrons contribute is just a lot of fun and quite professional. I would recommend and I would do it again. Well done Riosul!

We did the Super Safari trip and really enjoyed it - probably helped by the great weather for February. Very well organised, interesting stops and a fine lunch with entertainment that was appreciated by all. Many Canadians in our group including one lady who has done this same trip several times. A relaxing river cruise for the return journey, many thanks - you have created a rather special tour and we will be recommending it to anyone holidaying on the east side of Algarve
We will cross important wine areas of Huelva, before ringing the capital; we will cross the Tinto rivers, the Odiel and the Piedras marshes. On the way to Ayamonte, the landscape transformed from the eucalyptus to the orange grove appears; Once in this beautiful coastal municipality, we will visit its monuments, streets and squares, and the impressive mouth of the Guadiana River, a natural border between Spain and Portugal. At the indicated time we will cross the Guadiana river by boat to reach the Portuguese city of Villa Real de Santo Antonio, international capital of Illuminism, where we can enjoy free time to admire its important framework and architectural heritage, built by the Marquis de Pombal. We will visit the city of Castro Marim, which highlights its important 12th-century castle founded by the Templars, and if we coincide with the third Saturday of the month, we will delight in its charming local market. At the scheduled time we will leave for Seville.
Inclusions: Private transportation, Air-conditioned vehicle
Exclusions: Lunch
With a few days in Seville, we decided to take a day to enjoy more of southern Spain. We visited a few world famous locations and learned much about them. We chose this trip specifically because of the time allocations in each location. We had free time at each location and our guide gave us some options for things to do. It was perfect to hit the highlights and a little more. Our guide was very friendly and the trip was comfortable even over roads that were intimidating at times. We recommend that you take this tour to get out of Seville and see sights you will never forget.
