Beautiful boutique hotel on the bay in Golfito
The view is amazing
Reviewed By leidy cThe view of this place is out of this world. We saw dolphins, turtles and different fish from the back balcony. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very friendly. I recommend this place for sure.

We are a hotel located in Puerto Jiménez, Golfito, Costa Rica, with the aim of providing a great quality of customer service and a familiar atmosphere. Our name was inspired by the flora of our town, for us a leaf worths as gold, we value their presence and we know that there are many places which do not have this beautiful opportunity, for this reason, we decided to name our hotel ''Hoja de Oro ''. Our beautiful town has the amazing Corcovado National Park, which is considered one of the regions with the greatest biodiversity on Earth. Just 3 minutes away from our hotel, you can visit the local beach of Puerto Jiménez. In our town, there are many options for activities, the most famous: Sport fishing, kayaking, ecotourism, animal sighting, hiking in Corcovado National Park, artisanal fishing, bathing in our beautiful beaches and much more.

Reviewed By 787randallrThe rooms are very comfortable and clean. The bathrooms are modern, with nice showers. I liked that our room had a hangar rod and plenty of shelves, instead of a closet. We never turned on the tv, but it's fairly new. The main thing to recommend this hotel is the staff. They were just so friendly and pleasant in every encounter, and they are almost always around. Several of them spoke excellent English, and they were patient with us and our struggles in Spanish, which was nice because most people instantly want to switch to English.

A home away from home
Reviewed By 201gretchenfOur stay at El casa de tortugo was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. All of the staff were friendly and hospitable and went above and beyond to ensure my husband and I were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. The property and rooms were always clean, the food at the restaurant was the best in town, and all of the staff were personable and accommodating. We were always greeted with a warm smile. They also were very helpful in arranging/scheduling a variety of tours to explore the beautiful ocean and jungle. English and spanish were spoken and We appreciated their patience with us as we were learning Spanish! We came as tourists and left as friends. We will definitely be back to el casa de tortugo, when we return to bahia drake.

Exhilarating stay in simple paradise
Reviewed By hugomb97Staying here was the highlight of my entire Costa Rica trip, Jason made our stay extremely enjoyable, comfortable & safe. He took us on daily river hikes to local waterfalls, wildlife spots & beautiful beaches; allowing us to experience & explore true wilderness & perfectly pristine jungle - home to loads of incredible species along the way. We had only booked 2 nights here on arrival, but me & my cousin ended up staying over a week... I will never forget my time here; staying in one of the coolest spots on earth, with one of the coolest guys on earth as host & guide

A Dream come true!
Reviewed By L3731TPjaimelIt exceeded my expectations of a small hotel, Bahia Drake in overall was a paradise beach and the hotel was simply the Icing on the cake. Good location, Clean, Fair price. Although breakfast was not included, they recomended me a pretty close "soda" to eat.
