Stayed for business. The room was not good - it had not been cleaned and had dirty sheets and it smelled like feet, which was later explained by a pair of dirty old socks I located under the bed. I requested the staff to clean, but they merely re-made the bed and wouldn't even change the sheets. The socks were not even removed, I disposed them myself afterwards and kept the window open for hours to get rid of the foul smell. There was no hot, or even lukewarm, water in the shower the entire stay despite the staff saying there is. However they provided a rod to heat up the water in a bucket to bathe with on my second day which was totally fine for me. The staff tried to charge me a higher rate than negotiated and agreed upon with my employer because I am white (this was literally said by the receptionist) but my colleagues persuaded them not to. The service was fine otherwise, good breakfast and conference facilities were adequate.

I stayed in Shani Village Resort for a night when I was traveling for work in Surkhet. This is the most luxurious stay in the city, with its large, spacious rooms and great outdoor dining spaces. The hotel even has a swimming pool, which is a rarity in this region of Nepal. The kitchen serves great food - Continental, Indian, and Nepali. I recommend this hotel for travel or work!

Hotel Namaste Nepal was established in 2002 in small city of Surkhet District situated in Nepal. Currently, we have more than 40 rooms available including superior Deluxe room with Air Condition / Hygenic Food / Attached Bathroom, Garden & Restaurant with Bar.
Been to Surkhet multiple times, but stayed at Namaste Nepal for the first time. Hotel seemed to have just been revamped as smell of fresh color was strong. The room was ok but lookout for insects (small cockroaches)... the room had AC and fan... tv seemed to have some issue but ok... the room i stayed had low coverage of wifi so struggled a bit. The food is good and the staffs friendly. I would recommend this hotel fo any one who would like to stay in the market area and in rush.
