We had an overnight stay in the hotel, which was in a quiet location off the SS18 and a half hour walk to the beach at Gizzeria. The owners are lovely people, who speak Italian, French, and a little English. There is parking out front and wifi. The rooms are fairly basic, but serviceable, complete with comfy bed, desk, minibar, wardrobe and air-con.The bathroom has a tub,but no shower cubicle. The decor is a bit dated, but has a traditional charm nonetheless. The price is cheap. We ate in the restaurant downstairs, and had one of the best meals on our 5 week trip to Italy.Fresh, local produce with incredible flavour! Being near the coast, seafood features highly:my husband had a fish antipasto platter, followed by pasta marinara.I enjoyed a meat cheese and vegetable antipasto platter, then a smoked salmon pasta dish, accompanied by a local white wine. Our meal was superb and we thoroughly recommend a visit to this humble ristorante.

We rent a bungalow for three nights as a family with three children. Everything clean, the animals on the farm were great to see for our children and the pool provides a Carribean feeling. The food is really delicious. You feel the Italian family spirit. What we also liked is the short walking distance to the train station and airport without the hotel being too noisy. A real paradise allowing lots of trips in Calabria.
