So I used 12000 choice points for a “ highly rated platinum “ chain hotel. Asked for first floor, girl said baby crying on first please take second floor. Has elevator so ok. Family put in room above us kids running all over driving us nuts. Called desk THREE times then moved US to king bed instead of our 2 queen room. Wife never slept, kids noisy until midnight. Only counted 10 cars in lot. Why don’t they space customers out? Just poor planning but workers. Pool small didn’t use. Typically breakfast, just had experience

Really disappointed in the staff as they followed our children around, taking pictures and spying on them while they were sitting in the lobby and public spaces. Completely unacceptable as we expect a safe space for our kids. I wouldn’t recommend for any groups traveling with kiddos. They were less than kid friendly. One of the managers entered one of our rooms without permission, no knocking or anything while the mom was in the shower! Absolutely not. Also, the shower water every morning was COLD! For $137/night I expect a nice hot shower. The hotel itself is newer, very well laid out, clean. Decent breakfast, though more protein options would be ideal. Just your basic waffles, potatoes, cereal, bagels so be prepared. Never had quite this experience at any Hampton Inn as we travel often for tournaments. I would suggest your group go somewhere else to stay.

The Morris Estate offers luxury accommodations in a breathtaking setting on an historic property in Southwest Michigan. The River House bed and breakfast has beautifully appointed suites, spacious common areas, and a riverside terrace overlooking the St. Joseph River and surrounding forest. Nestled next to the main house are two cabins that can be rented as a private retreat for the perfect peaceful weekend.
The Millstone is simply a unique experience than I have ever had, and it is worth investing in the experience once in a while. We plan on revisiting for special celebrations in our marriage. It is a gem of southwestern Michigan. The actual cabin is great, but the surroundings just make it that much better.
