Went in with an older relative today for lunch, three of us. Really nice food, well cooked, well presented and a real feel and taste of home made. Lad behind the bar was really friendly and we felt very well looked after. Puddings delicious. Well done and thank you.

Nice hotel and Restaurant but some issues. Most of the reviews are about the restaurant which I'd 'good to very good'. Enjoyable evening meal, very friendly staff loog after the five of us, four adults and one dog! Breakfast was a great 'full english'. Being a very old coaching/ harbour pub the rooms at the front have doors that are less than six feet high, and we had a double room. There wasn't room for anything more than a double bed which is too short for me. Also hit my head on the TV when squeezing past the bed, the TV is mounted high on the wall. Liked the bedside lamps with built in USB charger for phones. Small shower room with toilet and small basin. No mirror on the wall for shaving. No soap dish in the shower enclosure to park the gel whilst showering. Small details make a difference. Inexcusable the push button on the toilet was missing, had to insert fingers to flush the loo. Hence the there stars. Had we stayed in the bigger room, then maybe things would be better.

Sun, sea and sands are in abundance here at Romney Sands Holiday Park. Kick back and enjoy sandy shores, wonderful wildlife and the amazing activities on offer here in Kent. Better yet the park has a host of offerings including tennis and crazy golf. Let your little adventurer loose on our adventure playground or go for a swim in one of the two indoor swimming pools! The Dunes of Greatstone and Dungeness Nature Reserve are just on your doorstep. You can stroll through the dunes to unlock a stunning sandy shore! Or, take a walk on the wild side and explore the local wildlife. From caravans to apartments – we offer it all!
Visited in June, cheap week away after visiting Parkdean in Camber three weeks prior. Park seems to just have a handful of holiday makers and everyone else are owners. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Caravan was clean and a good base. Swimming pool again okay, clean but outdated. No extra activities on-site as there was previously at Camber.. Brochure advertises kids entertainment from 17:30 but absolutely nothing going on, staff say it’s only during peak (six weeks holidays) Entertainment then starts at 19:30 (far too late) and consists of a tv plying dancing and a character popping out for 10 mins. Food in restaurant not great, same menu as Camber where it had been great a few weeks okay but several ingredients and meals missing from menu, meals being served missing parts, all food and drinks were luke warm on numerous visits. Overall an okay stay but would be really annoyed if had paid more that a cheapy Sun break. We wouldn’t return.

Littlestone Hotel ( Holiday Rental)Home away from Home, very popular among power station engineers and students staying over few months at a time, for peace and quit , we have TV in the shared kitchen and living room only ( No TV in the rooms), all rooms en suite, and access to a fully equipped shared kitchen.
We walked in and walked straight back out again. This a a tired, run down establishment that operates mostly as a Boarding House. The rooms and their content are tired and run down, bedding and mattresses old and worn and not even sure that the bottom sheet had been laundered. No wardrobe or chest of drawers in the room we were given. One bottle of hand gel on a table in what could loosely be described as the reception area. We were paying £97 per night; owner only agreed to refund one night. Much, much better small hotels and guest houses to stay in than this one and more competitively priced. Astounded at the good reviews this hotel has had - can't understand it. I'm not unreasonable, but this was truly awful. Definitely would NOT recommend.
