Reviewed By Annedebretagne5629Isabelle's homely chalet is a great base for winter activities in Les Ecrins. We stayed 5 nights in December 2021 and did some ice climbing and ski touring. The room we had was spacious, very comfortable with a lovely 160 bed and plenty of storage for our winter clothes. The bathroom was very well equipped (shelves, drying lines, hair dryer ..). You can tell that Isabelle is paying attention to details to make her guests enjoy their stay. The same can be said of the food: entirely home made every day, with great local products and fresh bread everyday. Breakfasts are lovely and dinners come as a 3 course meal with delicious local cheeses too! If you're away for the day, skiing or else, the lunch boxes pack a punch too! Don't plan to loose any weight but you'll have a very good and resting time there. Anne & Darko

Arielle made us feel incredibly welcome, made us a delicious breakfast each morning and helped us find the best restaurants in the area. I genuinely couldn’t recommend Maison Abeil higher. Sets a new gold standard for B&B accommodation.

Excellent hotel
Reviewed By mgacourtI stayed there for a few days in April 2018 and have to say the hotel manager is very friendly, efficient and hardworking. Can't recommend this place enough. I injured myself while skiing and had to abort my trip but he gave me the initial prices he quoted me for for my stay.
