BAD BUSINESS.
Reviewed By lauramH244OVI am originally from Jackson, MO and had a 1-night reservation this past Saturday, where we were flying in from Fargo, ND to the Cape Girardeau airport. The morning of our stay, our first flight got delayed a few hours, so the airline had to move our second plane to another time, and then move our third plane to yet an even later time. The whole point of us coming, we had a pickup that had to be made before 6pm but our flights wouldn’t arrive now until after that time. As soon as we knew that our flights were delayed that far out and that the business would be closed when we arrived and that they wouldn’t be open that Sunday (the day we were to fly back out), we called the hotel for cancellation. They said they were unable to cancel the day of, that it had to be a 24 hour notice. I could not give the hotel a 24 hour notice, because the airline didn’t give us a 24 hour notice. They told us the morning of our stay. I explained all of this to the Manager, Pinky, and she refused to give us a full refund or even a partial refund. Totally ridiculous. When I asked who was over her that I could speak with about the matter, she said no one was over her and she told me to speak with customer service if I wanted to speak with anyone else. We paid $161.01 to this hotel for one night for nothing. No room. No cleaning had to be done. No nothing. …. Bad business. Bad manager. Bad hotel.

Reviewed By Rach121790Thin hospital blanket as bedding, 1 ply toilet paper. No trash bags in cans. Mold and water damage under sink. Fridge didn't fit its shelf and was unbalanced causing it to smack you when trying to open it. Online showed it should be $73. I was charged $120 plus a $50 deposit. Had I seen the "blanket" and tp, I never would have stayed or even made the drive there.

Room Not Cleaned Properly!!!
Reviewed By Exploration760708We made a reservation as we were coming in very late. Room was confirmed for two queen beds. When we checked in the clerk, who was very nice and friendly, sad there had been a problem with our room and they had us in King room. We needed two beds as we reserved. I’m sure they were over sold as it was graduation weekend. The clerk told us the room was not cleaned up to their expectations and the bed may not look made. I assumed the cleaning person just didn’t make bed right way. When we opened door and turned on lights I was shocked to see the floor covered in crumbs, see pictures. The beds were made but looked like they had been layed on. This was only hotel with rooms left so we were stuck. We didn’t want to walk on floor since it hadn’t been cleaned. Clerk said he would adjust the rate next day when manager got there. They had already adjusted the rate for discount and the manager never discounted our rate beyond that for dirty room!!! I did contact Choice and they apologized and put 8,000’reward points on my card. Wow big deal!!! The breakfast was very good which was a plus after not hardly sleeping worrying what was in the sheets ?. They could have at least run a vacuum since they already knew the room was not cleaned properly. Very disappointed in lack of response from onsite manager and what I considered a meaningless offer by corporate. You can do better Choice Hotels! You have very friendly staff; now back them up!

Reviewed By tanneshaw2022I had a wonderful stay but some girl named something Eastwood was saying that you all were nasty and can’t take care of your kids too. Ugh ? I had a great time though. It was clean and good but you can’t please everyone.
