A hotel that is both historic and modern- Sundvolden contains the best of both worlds and is known for great, Norwegian Cooking, top notch meeting facilities and comfortable and spacious rooms. We aim to host both your weeding and your most demanding kick-off. We can also host your perfect romantic stay, with spa treatments, gorgeous meals and champagne.
Family run, historic hotel outside Oslo. Lovely natural surroundings. Food used to be a lot better, sorry to say but have fallen down the last years. Staff is serviceminded, but not very professional. They hire young danish student with little or no hotel & restaurant experience. Why dont they get better or proper training? Rooms are also a disappointed. They are absolutely no anemetis, no refri/minbar, very poor TV, slow WIFI. The sound isolation is also not good, you can wake up in the morning by listening to other guests opening their doors and talking and walking in the hallway. And this was in the new part of the hotel. The training, spa and r & r fascilites are average, nothing very special. This could be an adequate hotel for a stay instead of sleeping in Oslo if you are travelling in Norway during your holidays. This is a typical conference or large-tourist group hotel. Large groups of people, all in and out, etc.

The tradition steeped Kleivstua has an undisturbed location surrounded by natural beauty, only a 40 minutes drive from Oslo. From Sundvollen the Dronningveien winds through Krokkleiva to the idyllic farmyard with a main house, small houses, stabbur, storage house, and outhouses. Kleivstua is history, tradition, forest mysteries, old houses, and grass-clad roofs. This is where Asbjornsen and Moe roamed the forest to find inspiration for their fairy tales, you are in their kingdom and that can be felt. The finely tuned details of the rooms, the soft couches, and the good meeting rooms. Wandering among the houses in the farmyard or to the Queen's and King's view makes Kleivstua a place for good meetings between people - both those who talk business, and those who get married or have something important to celebrate.
Went there with my wife for a 4 course meal. The location is wonderful, the service impeccable and the food was amazing. If you're looking for something special we can highly recommend this place! :-)

Family friendly camping site with the finest beach in Eastern Norway! Onsakervika Camping is inviting you and your familiy to a beautiful sandy beach, water slides, swimming pier and a nice playground. We have a cafe and minimarked where you get what you need during your stay. We wish you all welcome to Onsakervika Camping!
Attention. they have 7 days cancellation policy (All hotels in Norway do have 1 day), be careful with booking in advance. You will not get your money back in case of force major or emergency or corona quarantine . We made this mistake. Odin camping is located close, much cheaper and allows changes.
