Nice hotel, great dinner
Reviewed By christefan1We visited Hotel Gasthof Handewitt in March 2020, arriving the 13th in the afternoon. The hotel is in a quiet and nice area and consists of a few different buildings. Check-in was easy and we hade nice room a few steps from the main building. After check-in we went to Cittie Markt for some shopping, very easy to find. When returning we had dinner in the restuarant and enjoyed a fantastic wienerschnitzel and some nice wine. Very good food and two really nice ladies attended us for food and drinks! Unfortunately we had to leave early in the morning due to Denmarks lockdown and closing the borders, but we will definately return when life have returned to normal. If you look for accomodation in Flensburg, you must try this Gasthaus!

Reviewed By 381JOHNH381If you are passing Flensburg area it is easy to stop in Ibis Budget handewitt hotel very close to highway and also the city. We asked for room on upper level and look to east and the hotel give us precise what we asked.

The interior was dated and worn, furniture mismatched and in general needed updating. Bathroom tiles etc. need some tlc.

Reviewed By jokkel3058Vor den Toren der besuchenswerten Stadt Flensburg kann man hier wunderbare Ferien machen. Der Ferienhof wurde aus einem Bauernhof umgebaut. Die Wohnungen und Zimmer sind bestens ausgestattet. Es sind Nichtraucherwohnungen. Der Empfang ist freundlich. Man kann sich gut selbst verpflegen, aber auch Essen gehen. Frühstück wird angeboten oder man kann Brötchen bestellen. Die Betten sind einwandfrei, Matratzen nicht durchgelegen. Die Wohnungen und Zimmer sind sauber. Die Ferienwohnungen verfügen im Bad über eine Fußbodenheizung. Spaziergänge, Joggen und Fahrradtouren kann man sehr gut von hier aus starten. Es ist nicht weit bis zur Ostsee sowie auch bis zur Nordsee. In 15 Minuten erreicht man Dänemark. Wir haben hier schon sehr oft Urlaub gemacht und fühlen uns immer wohl.
