Beautiful hotel
Reviewed By Coronet1A lovely hotel in the middle of a wine country. Loved the rooms and especially the breakfast. Would come back any time. Everything is new and clean. If only the beds were a little bit softer. We had dinner in a restaurant nearby, which was also very good. For us, this was the perfect stop on our way to the Alps

Lovely hotel
Reviewed By MickfawJust a quick review of my stay at Strubel-Roos. Rooms are very comfortable and roomy, staff very friendly, wine lovely and would seem at the time of my stay plenty of people were stopping to sample the amazing looking cakes. Full continental breakfast very nice. Only stayed for 1 night but the sort of place I would have liked to spend at least a couple of nights to explore the very nice village/town in which the hotel is located.

This lovely little country side hotel offers cosy rooms and a really good restaurant for a perfect dinner with wine recommendations. As Espenhof consists not only of a hotel and a restaurant, it also owns a winery, where you can book wine tastings and cellar tours. There are fantastic hiking trails across the wide landscape mainly through vinyards since the region of Rheinhessen is the largest wine growing region in Germany.

Reviewed By Cheers4usWe chose this hotel for its nice terrace and wine tasting, but unfortunately we arrived late after a long day of travel and it was raining. We booked a standard double room, but we were upgraded to a suite, with a seating area - it was on the 3rd floor of the main building, with very narrow stairs. The room was nice and clean but would have preferred to stay in a room on the main level. There were only 2 others guests, so it was very quiet. We had a very nice dinner at the restaurant.
