Crackenback Farm Restaurant & Guesthouse is located in the beautiful Crackenback Valley five minutes from Jindabyne. The position is perfect for skiing and summer sports at either Thredbo or Perisher, being less than ten minutes drive to the Ski Tube, and only ten minutes further to Thredbo Village. The Glenn Murcutt-designed lodge has six rooms offering every comfort, and a private lounge for in-house guest use only. A delicious Crackenback country breakfast is included. The French country-farmhouse restaurant draws accolades for some of the best food in the Snowy Mountains, with a cathedral-ceilinged main dining room and a well-selected wine list. There is a bar for relaxing before and after dinner. In season the restaurant trades for both lunch and dinner. Crackenback Farm looks forward to welcoming you and your family ...
We visited Crackenback Farm restaurant in March 2022 as part of a trip to the Snowy Mountains area. We were very impressed with the standard of the food at Crackenback Farm & Restaurant. It's in a lovely, quiet area between Thredbo and Jindabyne. Service was very good as well.

From start to finish we were treated with respect and like family whic we were not expecting.. The location had amazing views and was very uniquely beautiful. We loved the hosts and the building it felt most like staying in the Austrian alps were the service is top notch. Gorgeous fireplace, paintings and decorations. Everyone in our family had a blast and cant wait to come back. Breakfast included was perfect too, delicious eggs, fresh bread, fruit, etc. what more can you ask for? And the view was epic of the lake and thredbo you could see it all. Def worth a trek up a dirt road to find Alpine paradise.

I had an amazingly relaxing couple of days here, and wish I could have stayed a little longer! The house and rooms are lovely, the open fire and the hot tub are great to relax after the snow, and it is very quiet and relaxing out of town a little and on the way to Thredbo. You are next door to wild brumby distillery, and they have great platters, and Crackenback farm restaurant which is really good. Michael the host is very happy to assist and suggest, and makes the place feel laid back and relaxing- just what you want! Can't wait to go back.
