The people of the place are kind but don't speak English very well so that's something I would advice that they get better in because we had some miscommunication which made us feel uncomfortable. The rooms are okay but really nothing special. The beds don't sleep well and the pillows can't not be named pillows. They don't have airconditioning which I don't understand why they don't have this. Also there was no minibar! The food is nothing special. Nevertheless, because of the surroundings and the cleanness of the place everything was fine after all. The people really do their best.

Located on Caselnuovo Cilento hill, Villa Marchesa is surrounded by the evergreen nature of the Cilento National Park. Perfect position for reaching the beaches of Ascea, Casalvelino, Acciaroli.. The house has been recently restored. It has two floors, at the raised ground floor there is a living room with flat screen tv and a fireplace. At the first floor there are our exclusive 5 rooms; every room has a private bathroom with shower, conditionated air, phon, mini-fridge, balcony or terrace.
Beautifully situated and very welcoming
Reviewed By Max CVilla Marchesa is a wonderful place to reside during your holiday. It is a newly renovated house with luxurious, modern facilities. It has a balcony surrounded by olive groves that offers a perfect view on the sea and the beautiful mountainous landscape of Cilento. The host, Valentina, was very friendly and welcoming and made sure everything was to our wishes. Next summer when the pool is finished the place will be even better!

Reviewed By Marcoduck71Nel paese in cui parte il percorso cicloturistico della via silente, si trova, nella piazzetta, questo angolo di paradiso. Camere accoglienti, ben arredate e con tutti i comfort. Sala per la colazione spaziosa. Igiene e pulizia al top. E poi, Rossana è gentilissima e disponibile. Insomma ci si sta proprio bene. Peccato che nella parte alta del paese, oltre lo splendido castello, è difficile trovare ristorazione. Ma a Casa Silente potresti anche cucinarti da te. Infine, caso quasi unico, ricovero dedicato per le biciclette. Per i cicloturisti, il massimo.
