Hotel Posada la Plaza is situated at the central square of the small white village of Canillas de Albaida (900 inhabitants). It has a 9 rooms and a small spa zone. The surrounding area is great for lovers of Andalusian culture, the nature park Sierra Tejeda y Almijara is at walking distance for those who love outdoor activities and nature. Málaga city and airport are only an hour away, Granada 1,5hrs and several beaches at 30mins.

Reviewed By Jonathan0105After biking around the region, we arrived at the hotel at 5pm. There was no one on the reception, so we phoned the mobile number. It was answered by someone who sounded cross that we were disturbing him. After waiting for 15 minutes, the owner arrived. We were then promptly told (there were given absolutely no opportunity for discussion) that from the three rooms we had booked, and paid for several months ago, we are only now having two rooms (I assume he had sold the third room). Naturally, we have requested a refund – but I have only received insulting emails. Is money more important to this hotel owner than say having a decent reputation as a good hotelier? Anyway, I'm still cross so I’m off to talk to Exodus travel next week.

We will give you a warm welcome at our Bed & Breakfast just outside the small white village of Canillas the Albaida and near Competa. Over here you will be able to enjoy the lovely temperature of Southern Spain. Away from mass tourism and still near the coast. Surrounded by un-spoilt beauty of Natural Park Sierras de Tejadas, Almijara y Alhama and with stunning views to La Maroma (2069m). An ideal location for hiking and a lovely place to enjoy the authentic Andalusian atmosphere. Finca Floretta is divided in 'la Casa' with five rooms and 'la Cochera', with two rooms. The villa has a charming communal living-room for guests to relax and enjoy a cool beer or a glass of Spanish wine. You can read your book here or watch some television. But you might prefer a jump in the pool and doze away afterwards on one of the comfortable chairs...
Fijne accomodatie en lekker wandelen
Reviewed By aaip0De B&B ligt net buiten het dorpje wat heel veel privacy geeft. Er zijn 7 kamers waarvan 2 in een bijgebouw, waarin wij sliepen. Het grootste deel van het seizoen is het eigenlijk te warm om te wandelen hier maar in april gaat dat prima. De eigenaars denken supergoed mee over de wandelingen en koken 5 avonden per week. Het eten was uitstekend en de wandelingen ook. Logistiek als transfers was ook erg goed geregeld steeds. Topvakantie, we kunnen deze iedereen aanraden.

Suciedad y jacuzzi roto.
Reviewed By saandra8El apartamento estaba muy sucio, en una de las esquinas del techo había hasta telarañas, además el monomando de la ducha no funcionaba. Elegimos el apartamento principalmente por el jacuzzi de agua caliente, pero no nos funcionó ninguno de los días que nos hospedamos, a pesar de haber avisado el primer día al propietario... cuando ya nos estábamos yendo, nos dijo que llamaría al técnico, pero en ningún momento pudimos hacer uso del jacuzzi. Realmente muy decepcionados.
