OK for a Stop Over - Nice People
Reviewed By Ichdien000Stopped off for a one night stay on route from UK to southern Spain. Hotel is sited on a quiet residential area and backs onto rural, vineyard and farming land. It is a large rustic type property with a nice garden and pool area where you can sit out and enjoy food or drinks. There is a also a very nice fresh water pool which was terrific to swim in. We found the actual bedroom a bit basic, dark and "tired" - perfectly OK and clean but reading some of the other reviews we had expected more. Some of the wooden painting in the room looks as it had been painted over and over - so it felt worn and in our view in need of a refresh - the bathroom also felt old and tired. But we had a small TV and the staff were very nice and they offer a complimentary drinks bar. Plenty of car parking also available. We were not able to taste the restaurant ( which appears to excel) as it is closed on a Monday but had a small and simple breakfast in the morning - again for our tastes the breakfast area was very rustic and rather dark. It is atmospheric, but too cluttered and busy for our tastes. All together we found the property to be OK for a simple stop over however having read some of the other the reviews we really expected it to be amazing - With a bit of a refresh and investment in some areas it certainly could be. Our highlight was the great pool and pleasant garden area.

Reviewed By heatherbarber10We loved our stay. The mansion is so cool. Beautiful and funky with a lovely garden with fruit trees and a wading pool (!). Definitely ask the owners to see the old wine casks and olive oil press - amazing. It is super easy to get to, and despite being close (1 hour?) from Barcelona and 15 mins from great beaches, it has a totally relaxing tiny-town feel. Super easy with kids (great space, enclosed garden, ping pong table...), but would be lovely alone or with a big group as well.

Excellent choice
Reviewed By Jonas SVery beautiful and charming farm house, well decorated and equipped. It was perfect for our family holidays. Well located, close to the beach (15 mins) and to the mountains (10 mins) and surrounded by vineyards, we deeply enjoyed the experience of waking up and choose if that would be a "beach day" or a "mountain day". Beside its location, the facilities we enjoyed of were great! Swimming pool, playground for the kids, a cozy terrace... Just perfect. And the apartment we stayed in too! Ideal for 2 adults and 2 kids, with everything you might need (I honestly think it was better equipped than our home). We stayed there for a week, and time ran way too fast. Whenever we have the chance we will pay a visit again.

Reviewed By ManelpvCasa muy grande, con una decoración especial que puede no gustar a todo el mundo, pero muy original, posiblemente mejor en fechas con menos frio, ya que cuesta calentar una casa tan grande. Los lavabos de la planta superior son muy originales y totalmente diferentes unos de otros, las cocinas, estan totalmente equipadas. Las barbacoas son pequeñas, y a veces salta la luz si enchufas demasiadas cosas, un poco mas de flexibilidad en el horario de salida, estaria bien
