A beautiful escape in the north woods, Breezy Point Resort is a family oriented resort located in Osage, MN on Straight Lake. Owned and operated by the Gust family since 1988, we strive to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. From our handcrafted cabins to the "fallen tree" in the play ground, we offer a truly unique experience.
Clean quiet place adorned with beautiful cabins!! Perfect vacation spot for family oriented events. Host Cyrus and fire-starter Gabriel were very kind, very open-minded, friendly, and eager to help with pretty everything just to make your stay more pleasant. We were a group of 5 Asian-Americans spent long weekend at Breezy Point Resort on Straight Lake and we enjoyed every minutes of it. Residents in that small town were corporative when we asked questions. And most importantly, other vacationers were family-oriented and respectful and friendly to each other. And, thank you for carrots and potatoes fresh off from their garden. We definitely recommend this place anybody regardless of your race and ethnicity.

We ate at the Cook House at the Smokey Hills resort (rebranded to The Branch). We had a bbq rib dinner with potatoe, salad or soup, garlic toast all for only $9.99! It was great! Since they will be catering mostly to veterans all the menu items have military references. Veterans also get a discount! Get out and try them! They’re open Thursday trough Sunday.

The area attractions include the Itasca State Park - Headwaters of the Mississippi, riding stables, golf courses, area tennis courts and many fine restaurants and supper clubs.
Excellent accommodations, great fishing, perfect secluded getaway. Really like the recently added AC to the cabins. The outdoor pool is amazing. This is the perfect resort for those looking to unplug and relax.

We stayed in the Loons Nest cabin. We were about five minutes to the state trails. It was nice to come back to this nice little three bedroom cabin on the lake. It was about a mile away from the resort itself but perfect for 4x4 trailer parking. The new resort owners and their kids were very friendly and accommodating. They stopped over to check on us when we first got there to make sure we had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Sadly there was no TV... but we survived!!!

Not as advertised...not family oriented, no jet skis allowed, the public bathrooms are there but are locked, water hook-ups smell like rotten eggs and if you are visiting it cost $5/person no matter how long you are visiting & even if you are visiting family.
