Another stay in the beautiful, quiet village of Weobley. Mellington House is an excellent base and Chris & Alison are perfect hosts, so friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble for them. This time we stayed in The Hayloft, just the two of us but it can comfortably sleep four, whether B&B or self-catering. Weobley has a number of very good eating establishments, including an excellent Indian restaurant and two real ale pubs. we would thoroughly recommend Mellington House and expect to come back again in the future.

Stayed here for two nights, and will definitely return when we next visit Weobley. In the heart of the village, the Sal is a vibrant village pub. The rooms are a good size, very comfortably furnished, and clean.

Interesting listed building

A real warm friendly welcome from Ann the owner of the property. We, five of us, cycled nearly 30 miles to the accommodation. Ann met us on our arrival and offered to make tea/coffee which arrived with some nice cookies. This was very welcome after our cycle, and served in one of the many seating areas in the beautiful garden. Ann also allowed us to store our bikes in one of her sheds. Lovely rooms with an excellent breakfast. Good location and Weobley has a lot to offer. We had a walk around the village in the morning buying some supplies for our return cycle.

not at all what we had been led to believe

Reviewed By Melanie D

Sarah is lovely, caring, and trying very hard to keep things going. Having said that, her husband has been ill and is obviously not able to keep up with running a B and B. He has closed the pub side of the business. We were surprised that his opening comment was "I don't really want to put the heating on" - we had walked 12 miles in the rain and wanted to dry out both ourselves and our clothing. Sarah made lasagne for supper, but breakfast was covered in cat hair and was very mediocre.
