We had a lovely stay at the Mountain Primrose B&B. Dawn, the owner couldn’t be a better host. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The house is wonderfully quirky. The breakfast was amazing and abundant. We just ate our two remaining delicious berry muffins at home today, the day after our stay, because we were too full from yesterday’s delicious breakfast. Thank you, Dawn, for wrapping them so nicely for us! We plan to return to Dolly Sods and Blackwater falls annually to hike and take in the gorgeous fall scenery and hope to again enjoy Dawn's hospitality at the Mountain Primrose.

Four ensuite rooms in a historic home. No breakfast but coffee provided in the morning. There is a very spoiled dog on the premises.
We went to Thomas to enjoy wild wonderful West Virginia for a quick weekend trip and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cooper House. The location is perfect, the decor is unique and tasteful, the rooms are comfortable, and Joy is a wonderful host and excellent conversationalist. We can't wait to check out her new Billy Motel!

The owners, Tim and Diana, are very nice. The house and furnishings are exquisite. But be forewarned. It is probably about to stop. Please stop by if you are wondering about West Virginia and a nice place to stay while exploring. Tim and Diana are thinking about moving out west to be near their children. My wife and I enjoyed their clean and nicely decorated place for guests. One thing my wife and I want to warn anyone about, though: The toilets are not secluded. In your own room, the toilet is part of the room. No wall between you and others. Just a screen. In both rooms. That is the only thing my wife didn't like about it. I had never experienced it, either. Understand? It is part of the way it is.

We arrived at 10 p.m. with snow covered roads and had no trouble finding the house. If you write down the directions from their website and look for road signs you will be fine. The owners greeted us and were very friendly. There were 3 adults in our room and we found the room to be the perfect size (one full bed and one twin) and very clean. Breakfast the next morning was a mix of fruits, cereals, hot biscuits, and a variety of drinks (teas, coffee, juice, and milk). It was not extravagant, but for the price it is similar to what I would eat on a normal day. We enjoyed watching the birds from their giant window in the kitchen. The owners are knowledgable about area attractions. White grass (skiing) and The Purple Fiddle (food and live music) are both close and very entertaining. The ladybug is not a resort with extensive pampering, but there is a warm room, comfortable/clean bed, simple yet tasty breakfast, and great hospitality.

I had a great time for the first time staying in a bed and breakfast. Sandy the inkeeper and her husband were very nice and even help us when we got stuck on the side of ther road in the snow. The stone garden inn was a very intresting place to stay, Our room was cut up into three parts a huge bathroom, sitting room and a bedroom. A propaine fireplace was in the sitting room where we could control the heat in our room. My husband was also able to use his wireless laptop there. We awoke to homemade blueberry pancakes and bacon. I would diffently stay there again.
